Random Fact #39

Vitamin K is naturally synthesized in the gut.  However right after birth the child's body can not produce enough vitamin K as is needed.  That is why it is law in every State/ Province for the child to receive a vit K shot after birth.

    i don't remember any of you guys getting that shot. i don't think i've ever heard of this before. i don't think i know anything about vitamin K
